The Kingdom of God in the Synoptic Gospels as an Object and Source of Hope
Sluka, Jiří ; Brož, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Scarano, Angelo (referee)
The work has three main parts, one on the kingdom of God, one on hope, and one on the relationship between the kingdom of God and hope. The first part looks for all occurrences of the word "kingdom" in the New Testament and examines the differences between the terms "kingdom of God", "kingdom of heaven", and "kingdom of the Father". It then turns its attention to the meaning and content of the term kingdom of God. The section on hope presents historical and contemporary definitions of hope, types of hope according to psychological research of the last two decades, looks for the difference between the object and the source of hope, describes the specifics of Christian hope, and looks for reasons why the word "hope" does not appear in the Gospels. In the next section, the thesis defines 16 classes of statements about the kingdom of God in the Synoptic Gospels, categorizes each verse into groups, and evaluates them according to their relationship to hope. It locates and presents the principles, called the building blocks of Christian hope, that are based on the kingdom of God presented by Jesus in the Synoptic Gospels. It then draws from the results the benefits of hope for people in their efforts to enter the kingdom of God. The paper also presents some Gospel passages about the kingdom of God that...

Voříšková, Eliška ; Malá, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kolář, Jozef (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy Author: Eliška Voříšková Supervisor: PharmDr. Kateřina Malá, Ph.D. Consultant: Mgr. Barbora Košťálová Title of thesis: CONSENSUS OF CZECH TERMINOLOGY IN THE FIELD OF MEDICATION ADHERENCE BACKGROUND: The terminology of medication adherence has undergone a vast change over the last 50 years. As individual terms have not become established, they are often misused and interchanged between each other. The aim of this work was to analyze the Czech literature and to establish a consensus in the field of terminology of medication adherence using Delphi round survey. METHODS: For Czech language, a search of literature released before January 6th, 2021 in databases Solen, ProLékaře.cz, BMČ and PubMed was reviewed. There were 122 articles published between 1998-2020, themed on the medication adherence. Based on the review, a questionnaire for three-round Delphi survey was created as well as a list of panelists invited in the survey. The survey was online, anonymous and contained questions about translation of 7 terms and their definitions established by the English document so-called ABC Taxonomy. RESULTS: In the 1st round of the Delphi survey, 106 panelists were contacted, 46 of whom responded. A consensus on...
The Effect of Personal Causality Orientation on Adherence in Outpatient Physiotherapy
Kuta, Igor ; Niederlová, Markéta (advisor) ; Šípek, Jiří (referee)
(in English) This master thesis deals with themes of motivations and compliance to treatment recommendations in outpatient physiotherapy. In the theoretical section it brings an introduction to the issue of adherence as a part of medical rehabilitation. It sheds some light on the importance of the research in this field and structures its span according to prescribed diagnoses and other criteria. It also shows distinctions in concepts of compliance, concordance and adherence and summarizes the findings of the most relevant directions of motivation research in this area of study. The aim of the empirical part is to capture relations between the distribution of patients' personal causality orientation and their adherence to treatment, along with others, e.g. demographic variables. The analysis of 113 patients' questionnaires showed that there is a statistically significant relation between both the internal and external causality orientation and the degree of adherence.
Automatic concordance extraction from the Internet
Macháček, Dominik ; Kríž, Vincent (advisor) ; Vidová Hladká, Barbora (referee)
Concordances are sentences containing given target word. They are profitable research objects in all linguistics fields. A big amount of concordances is exploited during lexical desambiguation problem solving. Language corpora are not able to supply sufficient number of concordances of some English verbs. In this thesis we elaborate a design and implementation of a console application for automatic extraction of given number of English concordances. The application gets on its input a target word, a part-of-speech and a number of sentences. Consecutively it seeks out and extracts on the Internet desired number of English sentences containing a target word as given part-of-speech. We created also a Python library which allows a modification of the application to any arbitrary language. We published it on PyPI server. A part of a work is also a webpage allowing users to try out the application through web interface. 1
The motets from the collection Selectissimarum sacrarum cantionum of Carl Luython and their concordances. Critical edition and analysis of the chosen motets.
Bilwachs, Jan ; Daněk, Petr (advisor) ; Baťa, Jan (referee)
There are concordances to five motets from Carl Luython's collection Selectissimarum sacrarum cantionum... fasciculus primus in Bohemian and German manuscripts and early prints from the turn of the 16th and the 17th centuries, which were not sufficiently evaluated yet. Some records of the motets are not just mere copies of Luython's early-print collection but rather their reworkings. In my thesis I follow up previous research about Luython's motet works. In the first chapter the convolute XI 8ř47, which is the only source that includes a complete specimen of Luython's collection and which represents an evidence about the dissemination of Rudolphinian music, is described. The second chapter deals with the collection itself. The third chapter is divided into four subchapters, each of them dealing with a description of the source in which a certain motet by Luython is preserved, and with a subsequent comparison of all variants that were found. A critical edition draft of the five motets is included.

Based on the results of a DOPO method, self-assessment of adherence and evaluation of adherence by the treating physiotherapist, from the sample of 69 patients it concludes, that there is no statistically significant relation between the aforementioned variables.
